Postgraduate education is the upper education in master's and doctoral programs after a bachelor's degree. The postgraduate education programs that the individual attends on his/her own request, provided that they meet certain conditions, consist of two degrees a master's and a doctorate. Revealing the needs, expectations and problems of students who aim to receive graduate education ensures that the education process becomes more efficient. In this context, as Association of Academy, we invite all candidates and researchers who want to complete their graduate education and aim to have an academic career, to our training titled “All About Postgraduate Education”, where we can inform them about the processes they may encounter.
Our training will be given by the United Nations Sustainability Ambassador, PhD Candidate Fatma Yeşilkuş on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 17:00 on Google Meet. In our training, the stages of master's and doctorate processes and the points to be considered will be explained. The main subheadings of our training are:
- What kind of changes does a master's or doctorate make in one's life? What are their contributions to our professional life?
- What is the application process for master's with thesis, master's and doctorate programs without thesis?
- What awaits students in the master's and doctorate process? How does the training process work?
- What kind of studies should students do during the graduate and doctorate process?
- What kind of resources should students benefit from during the graduate and doctorate process?
- How does the PhD process work?
At the end of the training, other questions of the participants about the academic processes will be answered.
