President of the Association of Academy , Assoc. Prof. Onur Başar Özbozkurt published a message on the occasion of the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
Assoc. Dr. Onur Başar Özbozkurt, in his message, said, “Today, we celebrate May 19, which inspired Turkey's struggle for independence, with great enthusiasm. The date of 19 May 1919 has gone down in history as the day when the resurrection of the Turkish nation, the will of self-determination and the love of independence began. We must always keep the spirit of May 19 alive, protect our national values and continue to protect the unity and solidarity of our country. On this occasion, as we celebrate May 19 with enthusiasm, we continue to protect the values inherited by all the heroes of our national struggle, and we commemorate our martyrs with gratitude, especially our Great Leader Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who sacrificed their lives for this country."
